Visit by the Chiefs again marks a crossroads of sorts for Broncos

It’s been just over a year between Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs and the last time the Chiefs came to Denver to play the Broncos.

In some ways, the team the Broncos are right now — one that is a defending Desmond Trufant Womens Jersey Super Bowl champion and in the hunt for another division title — can be traced to what happened against the Chiefs last November.

“When you think about it, a lot happened,” linebacker Brandon Marshall said recently. “It seems like a long time ago, and in other ways it doesn’t seem like much time has passed. After that game we kind of felt like we really had to pull together because things were happening.”

“Ben gets in the zone, it’s contagious.”

Coach Mike Tomlin points out “it’s a new year” with the Colts, who have the Lucas Oil Stadium advantage and plenty of defensive playmakers.

But obviously Roethlisberger has found a matchup he likes against Indy, which has struggled against him like NFL teams rarely do against quarterbacks.

ESPN Stats & Information found a few examples of star quarterbacks torching a team over a two-game period, and the overall numbers aren’t as strong:

Aaron Rodgers: 72.7 completion percentage, 617 yards, 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions Devonta Freeman Womens Jersey against the Bears in 2014.

Peyton Manning: 57-of-65 passing (87.7 percent), 640 yards, seven touchdowns and zero interceptions against the Raiders in 2013.
