As decisions on 2019 options for 2015 first-rounders go, some teams are more #asexpected than others.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Rams will pick up the options on both running back Todd Gurley and cornerback Marcus Peters.
Both were easy calls, since Gurley helped transform their offense last year and Peters was just acquired in a trade with the Chiefs this offseason.

Elite Youth Devontae Booker Jersey Before Peters has even played a game for them, the Rams announced Tuesday they have picked up the fifth year on his contract. The team also picked up running back Todd Gurley’s fifth-year option.
Gurley, selected 10th overall in the 2015 NFL Draft, had over 2,000 yards from scrimmage last season with 19 total touchdowns. He established himself as one of the league’s elite every-down running backs and should continue to find success in the Rams’ young, growing offense.
With Peters and Gurley locked up for at least two more seasons, the Rams have stalwarts on both sides of the ball to help lead them to further playoff success.
